    Birth Tub Rentals

Deep immersion during active labor causes a hormone to be released from the mother's pituitary which increases her available oxytocin. The deeper the pool, the more water is pressing on the extremities. The more water pressing, the faster the oxytocin reaction.

There is an art and science to waterbirth. Depth allows for complete position changes. Under normal circumstances, birth can unfold with very little intervention but requires lots of support and respectful care. Our 12 years of combined experience as doulas in a variety of birth settings has shown us that others already have what they need to give birth. We wish to share the insight we've gained from helping birth unfold in a variety of settings - home, birth center, and hospital - with no intervention and with lots of intervention.
